The children corners are built up with the view of creating awareness among the children about the importance of reading books and the knowledge imparted through them. It tries ensuring a brighter future to the youth parallely providing entertainment through games, Audio visuals, DVD's, TV's etc. within the age group of 4 to 14.

With the financial assistance of RRRLF, Kolkata the Directorate of Library Services established 21 nos. of children corners in different District and Sub-Divisional Library of Assam facilitated with all modern amenities.
